Fellowships
Morgridge Academy
National Jewish Health operates Morgridge Academy, a free day school serving chronically ill students in grades K-8 living in the Denver metro area. Established in 1977, Morgridge Academy is the only free school for chronically ill children on a medical campus in the country. The mission of Morgridge Academy is to provide a safe, friendly and healthy environment committed to whole-child development.
Health Care
Since 1899, National Jewish Health has served as a beacon of hope for millions of children and adults worldwide who suffer from respiratory, cardiac and immune-related diseases. People come to our main campus – and Respiratory Institutes® in Denver, New York and Philadelphia – from around the world for our unsurpassed excellence in patient care and research and for our track record of success. With the largest concentration of top-ranked pulmonologists under one roof in the world, our model of collaborative care and ability to take breakthrough discoveries from the laboratory bench to the hospital bedside are what make us unique.
Research
Since its inception in 1899, National Jewish Health has held a singular place in American medicine and has earned international recognition, leading the way to researching cures and developing effective treatments for respiratory, cardiac, immune and related conditions. With a focus on personalized medicine, our researchers are looking at environment-gene interaction and making strides in predicting, preventing, treating and tracking many diseases. Known for "translating" the lessons of basic science and applying them to human diseases, National Jewish Health attracts world-class researchers who conduct leading-edge scientific investigations.

National Jewish Health
Balance sheetFiscal Year: Jul 01 - Jun 30
The balance sheet gives a snapshot of the financial health of an organization at a particular point in time. An organization's total assets should generally exceed its total liabilities, or it cannot survive long, but the types of assets and liabilities must also be considered. For instance, an organization's current assets (cash, receivables, securities, etc.) should be sufficient to cover its current liabilities (payables, deferred revenue, current year loan, and note payments). Otherwise, the organization may face solvency problems. On the other hand, an organization whose cash and equivalents greatly exceed its current liabilities might not be putting its money to best use.
